Solid-state Inorganic Materials Chemistry, X-ray Crystallography Our research interest is focused on using hydrothermal reactions to create novel nanoporous metal phosphates, phosphites, silicates and germanates with pure inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid framework topologies and new properties and functionality. Current research topics include: (1) Searching for extra-large channel structures and investigation into structure-related properties (2) Synthesis of 3D chiral framework structures via solely achiral reagents (3) Intrinsic photoluminescence properties of nanoporous framework materials (4) Synthesis of lanthanide-free yellow and white phosphor materials |
